bldrBoost best practices
Learn proven patterns for using bldrBoost effectively, including prompt quality, progress management, escalation rules, and faster delivery habits.
bldrBoost best practices
Use these practices to keep your delivery cycle predictable and fast.
1) Write outcome-first prompts
Weak prompt:
- "Improve this page"
Strong prompt:
- "Increase contact form completion by simplifying the first fold and reducing fields to 4 required inputs."
The clearer the target, the better AI planning quality.
2) Track progress with explicit definitions of done
Each task should include:
- acceptance criteria,
- owner,
- expected completion window,
- dependencies.
Avoid "done-ish" status. Either it meets acceptance criteria or it stays in progress.
3) Timebox research and decision loops
If a task has been blocked longer than one workday, choose one:
- reduce scope,
- defer non-critical work,
- or escalate with Hire a bldrExpert.
This prevents hidden delays from compounding.
4) Use AI for drafts, humans for approvals
Best split:
- AI drafts plans, prompts, and implementation sequences.
- Humans approve architecture, compliance, and final launch decisions.
Use the Workflow Board for approvals on sensitive tasks.
5) Escalate the right tasks to bldrExpert
Escalate when the task is:
- specific,
- high impact,
- and time-sensitive.
Examples:
- "Repair broken import mappings on 12 pages"
- "Implement production Stripe webhook retries"
- "Fix mobile nav regression before launch"
Use the Hire a bldrExpert button from the task card so the assigned specialist receives full context.
6) Review weekly execution health
Every week review:
- milestone completion rate,
- blocker age,
- scope change volume,
- escalation frequency,
- launch risk level.
If blocker age or scope churn is rising, tighten prompts and reduce concurrent work.
